Nightlife in Cancun

Everyone knows that Cancun is a lively destination bursting at the seams with a huge selection of nightlife venues, so if you are planning to call Cancun your home, you may wonder which nightclubs are worth a visit. Fortunately, we’ve done the (oh so difficult!) homework for you, so you can skip the runaround and get right down to partying! You should definitely make it a point to check out a few (or all) of these places for a good time. Just make sure you do so before your day off!
Here are some of the top spots to see and be seen in Cancun:
Coco Bongo
With a capacity for 1,800 guests and astounding live shows including acrobats, superb artist impersonators, a light show, plus confetti and balloons adding to the festive vibe, it’s no surprise it has garnered rave reviews from the likes of MTV, E Entertainment and Rolling Stone.
The City
The motto “go big or go home” definitely applies to this massive nightclub, which happens to be the largest in Latin America with a capacity for 5,000 people. Partygoers can’t get enough of its amazing features including high-end light and sound systems, 3 levels, 9 bars and top guest entertainment acts such as Tiësto, Paul Van Dyk, Snoop Dogg and Flo Rida.
Mandala
Definitely a favorite amongst Cancun’s nightclubs, Mandala features gorgeous Asian décor, fabulous music, well-heeled clientele and open air surroundings that elevate the mood. If you head outside, you can keep an eye on all of the crazy action in the Party Zone.
Dady’O
An institution of Cancun’s nightlife scene, Dady’O keeps things exciting with theme nights, bikini contests, acrobats, dancers and laser shows. Music ranges from 80s and 90s hits to Hip-Hop and dance, while six bars will make sure your glass never goes empty.
Palazzo
Palazzo (which has also been Bulldog and Christine in the past) is a fresh new favorite with its chic décor and on-the-house transportation when you make a reservation. Get your groove on to the sounds of house, pop and billboard hits, or visit when guest DJs make an appearance.
Senor Frogs
With its recent move to the heart of the Party Center, Senor Frogs has never been more fun. Synonymous with good times in tourist destinations throughout Mexico, Senor Frogs won’t disappoint. Daytime hours, in addition to their very late nights, let the whole family get in on the action, too.
La Vaquita
Get ready for loads of fun at this festive club which features cow-print themed decor (La Vaquita translates to “the little cow”) complete with lounge areas and platforms where you can party the night away. Even better, order a “litro” (liter) cocktail and you won’t have to worry about your next drink order for a good while!
