Ciudad del Mar Comic

To acknowledge and celebrate some of the personal triumphs that staff members have experienced, you can enjoy a bi-monthly comic called “Ciudad del Mar” [City by the Sea]. The first edition of the staff comic was launched in May this year. The idea is to circulate the fun publication amongst staff for free to promote the hard work and sacrifices that many co-workers have faced to reach the positions where they are today. The bi-monthly comic portrays the real life stories and challenges of some of the individuals that work to make the experiences of vacation club members and hotel guests extraordinary each and every time they visit the resorts.

Handwork, dedication and teamwork

The goal of the Ciudad del Mar comic is to illustrate the hard work and dedication of staff members. The fictional city and families depicted in each edition represent the lives of many of the collaborators who support the company. The narratives depict how many of the individuals who work for Tafer Hotels & Resorts and the Villa Group overcome the challenges that life brings them through hard work, dedication, teamwork and love. You will find that each issue tells the story of a personal achievement that is based on real life experiences. It is a way of paying tribute to the great teams that make Tafer Hotels & Resorts and the Villa Group the success they are today.

Creative storytelling

While all the stories presented in Ciudad del Mar take real-life situations as their basis, they are enriched by a good dose of creativity and have a strong fictional element that is agreed upon by the real-life hero or heroine. Staff members are invited to share their tales and anecdotes to inspire subsequent editions.
